In the double blind clinical trials conducted on patients with mild age-related macular degeneration summarized below:

Of the patients given TOZAL:

• 3 out of 4 experienced no further decline of their vision throughout the study.
• 1 out of 2 experienced a slight improvement in their vision after 6 months.
• 1 out of 4 continued to experience visual decline, but no worse than the patients in the control group (see below).

Of the patients given the formula in Occuvite,
I-Caps, Preservision and similar products (the control group):

• 3 out of 4 experienced no benefit (their vision continued to decline at the same rate as if they had taken nothing).
• The remaining 1 in 4 patients experienced continued loss of vision, but at a slower rate.
  

• In peer-reviewed clinical trials, 77% of patients who took the TOZAL formula experienced improved or stabilized vision after six months.

• The landmark AREDS clinical trial showed that 75% of patients who took the AREDS formula got no benefit from it, and the 25% who did benefit didn’t get better, they simply lost vision at a slower rate than if they did nothing.
